No matter how you roll or stroll, let’s get moving to close out 2020!
Joplin Parks and Recreation in partnership with Mercy Hospital Joplin, is hosting an activity challenge this holiday season to coincide with the Holiday Tree Trail* at Mercy Park.
The Roll-n-Stroll is an inclusive activity challenge open to anyone who wants to participate. We challenge everyone to roller skate, use your wheelchair, push your stroller, or simply walk or run your way into the new year!There is no charge to participate in the Roll-n-Stroll challenge.To Participate:
– Register with Joplin Parks & Recreation
– Track at least 5 activities from November 24 – December 31
– Return completed activity tracker to Joplin Parks and Recreation by January 8Those who track 5 or more activities by December 31 and return their trackers on-time to the Parks and Recreation Department will receive a Roll-n-Stroll t-shirt.*The Holiday Tree Trail is a series of decorated trees from area businesses and organizations placed along a portion of the trail at Mercy Park. Trees will be lit from November 24 through January 1 and guests can view the trees during park hours (7 a.m. to 11 p.m.)
