Trail mix ix a wonderful mixture of flavors, textures, and a great way to have a healthy snack. The goal is to keep it healthy and tasty. If we want to get technical trail mix often helps supply some healthy fats, antioxidants, and fiber. Below is a tried and true Trail Mix Recipe used here to keep us from binging on candy.

1 cup pumpkin seeds, or sunflower seeds

(or any other cheese-flavored crackers)

1 cup goldfish crackers

(or any other cheese-flavored crackers)

1 cup cherry-flavored dried cranberries

(or other favorite dried fruit or yogurt covered fruit)

1 cup cashews or 1 cup other favorite nuts

(be careful of potential allergies)

1 cup peanut butter chips or 1 cup butterscotch chips

(maybe some chunks of dark chocolate)

1 cup miniature pretzel twists or 1 cup pretzel stick

If you want to sweeten up your trail mix maybe add:
